 So what is a Gaming PC? A Gaming PC is a PC that could play common PC games. In today's term, a Gaming PC must be capable of playing any type of games of your choosing. Usually a Gaming PC have a high capability graphic card (for desktop) or graphic chip (for notebook/laptop).



Buying a gaming PC is not as easy as it used to be. You have to pick what kind of hardware that can support the games that you want to play. Plus, there are so many type of games available out there to choose from. Most people today will automatically think a gaming PC cost around $2000 to $5000. From what I saw in these past few years, the owners of an expensive PC are usually the one that tell people how much their PC's worth. Thus, creating a hype that a gaming PC is expensive. What people didn't know that a gaming PC can cost around $200-$400 depending on what type of games you will play on it.


An expensive gaming PC hype also came from "paid" reviewer where they will "give a good review" on the latest graphic card which is expensive, with the unnecessary benchmark that look good on the chart but no different for the eyes, a hype that all gaming PC are expensive will sure arise.


So how to choose a gaming PC that fit your gaming need? Your gaming PC will be determine with these two simple questions. "What games are you going to play?" and "How much is your budget?". With these two simple questions, you will definitely filter unnecessary hardware in your list.

Most guides on the internet said that it will be cheaper if you make your own PC. Keep in mind that this only apply for certain countries. Here in Malaysia, making an own PC is a lot expensive than getting the already completed PC. So make sure you've done a price research before making your own PC.

- Which is more important to you? Graphics or framerate?
- What size do you want the PC to have?
