Since I just started playing Skyrim again, I might as well add few info's for it. Here are my top recommended mods from Nexus that you must have before adding any other mods.
*This also act as my note to myself if I wish to play Skyrim again in the future. =)

- Fix some bugs that developer left behind. A must have since it fix most the buggy quests.
Unofficial Dawnguard Patch by Unofficial Patch Project Team
- Fix some bugs that developer left behind. Get this if you have Dawnguard DLC installed.
Unofficial Hearthfire Patch by Unofficial Patch Project Team
- Fix some bugs that developer left behind. Get this if you have Heathfire DLC installed.
Unofficial Dragonborn Patch by Unofficial Patch Project Team
- Fix some bugs that developer left behind. Get this if you have Dragonborn DLC installed.
Unofficial High Resolution Patch by Unofficial Patch Project Team
- Fix some bugs that developer left behind. Get this if you have High Resolution DLC installed.
Skyrim Script Extender (SKSE) by ianpatt, behippo and scruggsywuggsy the ferret.
- Required for SkyUI and most of the good mods out there.
*Optional - Skyrim Script Extender working with steam by MrGrimz
- Tricking Steam to load SKSE through it so you could get all the Steam achievements that nobody really care.

- Easy management for the Inventory and also a requirement for most top mods today.
A Quality World Map - With Roads by IcePenguin
- Better map so you won't get lost in the dangerous world of Skyrim.
Alternate Start - Live Another Life by Arthmoor
- Skip the annoying long intro and give another start up story.
UFO - Ultimate Follower Overhaul by fLokii
- Better follower to fit your personal taste.
Move it Dammit for NPC Companions and Followers by Apogee777
- Fix the damn idle follower or NPC that always blocking your way.
Convenient Horses by Alek
- Tons of features for the horses including the ability to give your follower a horse so you won't be alone anymore.
Glowing Ore Veins 300 by Baratan
- Make the ore mining stone glow for best visibility. Suitable for player that always cry for not having enough ores for crafting.
MEDIUM-HIGH SPECS RECOMMENDED
Enhanced Lights and FX by Anamorfus
- Better lighting and FX. Give a really good mood for Skyrim environment.
The Ruffled Feather - Mod Collection by SparrowPrince
- Give better water, grass, terrain and many more.
There are tons of mods out there that you can use but I didn't include it here since most of them is based on personal preference and could change the true feeling of playing the Skyrim.
