How To Change Firefox Default Start Page

So you installed a software that require you to install a crappy browser toolbar and change your Firefox start up page. So how to change it back to default? Just follow my simple guide below. =)

1. At Firefox address bar, type about:config and press Enter on the keyboard.

2. When a warning page appear, click click on the I'll be careful, I promise! button.

3. At Filter bar, type keyword.url.

4. Right click on the keyword.URL and click on Modify.

5. A small window will popup. Replace the string in the box with this link.
   http://www.google.com/search?q

   

   Yahoo string: http://search.yahoo.com/search?sm=Yahoo%21+Search&p=

6. Click OK button and now you have the start up page in the Firefox back to default.
